As some of you may remember at the awards (or not), the 2009 UK Scenario paintball annual was announced, Sorry for taking so long to post up on the forum as we try to iron out a few issues.

For those that were not at the awards, Andy Newberry (BraNewbs) and I talked earlier in the year about putting together a glossy picture book of the years events and teams and erm...... we are.

Introducing....

Team Page Samples....

We will be taking orders soon, hopefully it will feature all the main games from 2009 and all the scenario teams that were active including those few that are active players but not in a specific team.
The book will be a glossy hardback in A4.

Price is depending on the print run, we are not looking to make a profit on the sale of the books but printers and designers will have to be paid before it goes to print, so we are asking you guys 'n' gals who would like a copy so we get a figure of how many to print, If you place a deposit you will get a limited DVD included in the book of un released pictures and video from some 2009 games.

Hopefully we can continue the annual to 2010 and onwards for the UK Scenario community

We are still awaiting a few details of team members before we can go to print, if you think you have not been contacted about being included in the book please PM me.

As long as it's not TOO expensive, then I'll have one.

The price that is being kicked about is around £24.99 at the moment, we can lower the price but that would mean dropping pages and we don't want to do that.

Stick me down for one.

It's good to support this sort of idea.

Having just published a book I understand how expensive it can be to get this kind of thing off the ground....and fair play for that. Put me down for 2 copies and I'll chase the boys up to see who else is in.

Guys this is one of those times where you can stand on the sidelines and wait and see what happens or you can show a little commitment and help to make sure it happens.

The reason we chose a book over a DVD was so players could have something to show (or bore) friends/relatives what we get up to during the year, we hope the book would be more personal to a player than a DVD that gets passed around and dare say copied before it's handed back.

We are doing our best to include pictures of everyone and giving a page to each of the active teams that attend the games. We can not guarantee that everyone will be included obviously but we hope to.

The bonus DVD will include Video footage and stills of past games including Oklahoma D-Day from 2007, 2008, and 2009 as Tim will confirm only about 20% of the usable d-day footage has ever been shown.

We will only be printing 10% over what will be pre-ordered, I know it's a lot to ask for players to invest in something that you have not seen but as Andy and myself don't have 5K to invest in this project its up to you players as the community to support it.

I will be setting up deposits on swasp.co.uk soon, so you can pay via debit or credit cards, Myself and Andy will prob be at AAO if anyone wants to pay cash, we really don't want to leave it too late for printing.
